Sermon: The Power of Praying for One Another
Scripture: James 5:13-16
P_________________ is communication between humans and God.
James is reminding us that in everything..... prayer is the a_______________. Because a part of what prayer does is it aligns us with the h_______________ and character of Christ.
God didn’t p_______________ that he would always fix everything and make it better or what we want, but He says, “I’m going to be strong with you and strong for you.”
The promise of God isn’t that everything will be answered to the letter, but that it is important for us to have f________ that God moves and works in our lives.

Five passages to help you grow in your faith this week!
Monday - Read: James 5:13–14
Reflect: When life is hard - or when life is good - how naturally do I turn to God in prayer?
Pray: God, help me turn to You in every circumstance. Amen.
Tuesday - Read: James 5:15–16
Reflect: Who in my life needs me to pray for them right now?
Pray: God, bring someone to my mind who needs prayer today. Help me faithfully lift them up to You. Amen.
Wednesday - Read: Galatians 6:2
Reflect: How can I help carry someone’s burden this week?
Pray: God, show me how I can pray for, encourage, and walk alongside someone who is hurting. Amen.
Thursday - Read: Ephesians 6:18–20
Reflect: How can I be more intentional about remembering and praying for the needs others share with me?
Pray: God, help me pay attention when others share their needs. Remind me to keep praying for them. Amen.
Friday - Read: 1 Timothy 2:1–2
Reflect: Who are some people I don’t normally think to pray for, and what could I pray for them today?
Pray: God, expand my prayers beyond myself and the people closest to me. Amen.
