Spark Kids! K-5 grade
Spark Kids is kicking off again! Kids in Kindergarten–5th grade are invited to join us each week to learn more about Jesus, grow in faith, and have tons of fun together. We can’t wait to see you there!
Youth Group 6th-12th grade
Youth Group is back! Starting Sept 3rd in the Dock- All middle and high school students are invited to join us for a time of fun, friendship, and growing in our walk with Jesus. You don’t want to miss it!
Youth Group Winter Wave Weekend
We will be going to a Winter Wave Weekend at Beulah Beach up in Vermillion, OH January 16-18, 2026. I will know the total cost when they open registration in October. But, it will likely be around the $160 range and includes all food, transportation, lodging, and a trip to Kalahari. And, of course a great weekend with friends spent in worship and the Word. No money is due at the time of registration.
Youth Group Summer Mission trip 2026
St. Marks Youth will be going to Pittsburgh June 22-26, 2026 for our summer mission trip! The total cost of the trip per person will be dependent on our fundraising efforts, but will not exceed $500 per person. A $100 deposit will be due January 1 to lock in your spot. The cost of the trip includes transportation, food (except for one meal), lodging, and a week full of fun, friends, learning, worship and serving together.
Making Moms merry at Open Arms
We are providing items for the kiddos and the moms that are currently being served by Open Arms.
For the kiddos, we have hung tags on the trees in the church lobby and in the DOCK. There are 5 different color tags, which coordinate with an age group. There are 20 tags per age group, with 10 being for boys and 10 being for girls. They have asked us to provide these gifts wrapped, with the tag attached so they can be given out at their Christmas Party on December 11th. The toys should be age and gender appropriate, non violent and valued at or around $10.00.
The age ranges are:
Age 0-2
Age 2-4
Age 4-6
Age 6-10
Age 10+ - this is the only age range that isn't gender specific. They have asked for $10.00 Walmart Gift Cards.
The items/cards you purchased can be brought back wrapped, with the tag, and placed under the tree no later than December 7th. We will make sure the itms get to them in time for the party.
For the moms, we are collecting comfort type items that will bring some joy into their life. These items do not have to be wrapped. You may place them in the boxes in the church lobby and in the DOCK no later than December 15th. Here are some items that they've have suggested:
- New Blankets
- New Slippers or fuzzy socks
- Body Wash and Lotion
- Shampoo and Conditioner
- Hair Care Products, Hair ties, Hair clips, brush, comb, etc.
- Nail polish, polish remover,cotton balls, nail care kits, nail files, etc.
- Gas Cards, Gift Cards to Wal Mart,Meijer, Kroger, Dollar General
