Connecting with Jesus, each other, & our Neighbors

Deuteronomy 6 paints a beautiful picture of family and God's heart for discipleship at home. In the everyday moments of life, dads and moms have an incredible opportunity to champion their faith in front of their kids. St. Marks wants to help families find their place in this story God is writing.


Your First Visit

At St. Marks we welcome children of all ages as important members of the church, and we welcome the sounds and activity that accompany them! Children are welcome to remain in worship with their families or utilize the following spaces: 

 

9:00am Traditional Worship Service

  • The Nursery - is located at the back of the Sanctuary behind the Welcome Center and is equipped with trained leaders to care for children ages 6wks- 4 years during the service. 
  • Backstage Kids - is a worship experience just right for kids ages 5-4th grade. Complete with music, prayer, and an interactive message, it's a great way for children to engage with our weekly scripture in a way they can relate and understand! They are dismissed to the Backstage Kids room, located at the back of the sanctuary, immediately following our Children's moment on the 2nd-5th Sundays. 

 

10:45am Contemporary Worship Service

  • The Nursery - is located to the right of the stage and is equipped with trained leaders to care for children ages 6wks- 4 years during the service.
  • Backstage Kids - is a worship experience just right for kids ages 5 years- 4th grade. Complete with music, prayer, and an interactive message, it's a great way for children to engage with our weekly scripture in a way they can relate and understand!   They are dismissed to the Backstage Kids room, through the doors to the left of the stage, immediately following the Children's Moment on the 2nd-5th Sundays. 

Nursery

Nursery care is provided at all Sunday morning worship services for children 6 weeks - 4 years old. Our leaders are trained and screened prior to serving. For more information about our nursery ministry, please email Curynn at cdewitt@stmarksfindlay.org

Backstage Kids

Join us "backstage" as we dive into the week's scripture with an interactive lesson created for kids ages 5-4th grade. We  will enjoy a craft and games to go along with our learning! Backstage Kids is offered during the sermon at both services except on Communion Sunday (the 1st Sunday of every month).

*Teachers are trained and screened prior to serving.

Spark Kids

Spark Kids is our Wednesday evening ministry for elementary-aged children. We meet 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesdays during the school year.  Spark Kids emphasizes fun and fellowship while also including a Bible-based lesson. We begin each gathering in The DOCK for high-energy games, followed by an interactive lesson and a craft to bring it all together!
